The system ensures a streamlined workflow by assigning specific managers to oversee and make decisions on leave requests, offering them the flexibility to approve, decline, or cancel submitted leave applications. The calculation of leave days takes into account the existing shift schedules, determining the specific days to be designated as leave. Additionally, the system converts hours into days and vice versa to accurately reflect the duration of the leave.

Throughout this process, automated notifications are sent to employees and their assigned managers via email and mobile alerts, keeping all relevant parties informed of application status updates and any modifications made to the requests.
